“ Stopped by here for a quick protein smoothie after working out in the area. It was in the evening, so wasn't crowded at all. Ordered the Strawberry Banana protein smoothie and a Malbec Beef Empanada. He started on the smoothie right away while heating up the empanada. Both were ready within 5 minutes and I grabbed a seat at the window. Smoothie was good and not too sweet. Empanada was a good single serving to have with the smoothie. It was a good afternoon workout meal. ”

“ I first tried Deep Purpl at Vegan Fest last year, and was so happy to take a different way home and pass by this shop in the loop. The Acai bowls are SO refreshing, especially in the heat of the day, and gives stable energy for more walking. This ended up being my dinner so it’s also a nice meal replacement, I was surprised I wasn’t hungry by the time I got home. It’s a little bit pricey (my tiny cup was 8.95) but considering the assortment of freshness you get in the fruits and toppings, it can be justified. I hope another location opens up in the south loop, this is quickly becoming my favorite healthy treat ”
